Both sides have small holes for marking of fabric andĀ super-accurate placement (metric version at 0.5, 1, 2 and 3 cm, inch version at 1/4", 5/8" and 1". Holes let the stem through as well as allowing you to pin through the hemmer without damaging it. Two corner curves are very handy when pressing pockets.
