Width: 135cm

Weight: 76gsm

Originally created in 1968 during the Liberty Art Nouveau revival, Penelope's Dance is an ode to Belgium’s breathtaking Winter Garden of the Ursulines, built in 1900. The design mirrors the grandeur of its stained-glass dome, adorned with a plethora of stylised blooms. Rendered in monochromatic palettes, majestic poppies and daisies entwine with swirling foliage, their bold outlines accentuated to form a seamlessly organic pattern. This print is part of the second chapter in this collection, Gallery Garden, which explores the history of gardens and the artistry inspired by verdant spaces throughout time. From Egyptian and Roman influences to Persian miniature gardens and Japanese zen landscapes, it reflects an evolution of beauty, structure, and creative freedom cultivated through the ages.

Liberty fabrics are so lusciously soft to touch and are perfect for dresses, shirts, tops, skirts, sleepwear etc.
